Some 100 miles northwest of Columbia, Greenville is located on the Piedmont Plateau. The Blue Ridge Mountains are only minutes from the heart of town; they are great for hiking, biking or just a sunday drive.

Whether you have a cultivated palate or simple tastes, Greenville provides a range of gustatory stimulation as well. The barbecue sauce is tomato based and the best sauce in town is cut with a little bit of Cheerwine.
